Talent and music executive, Ubi Franklin has failed to clinch the House of Assembly ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ubi lost the chance to represent Yakurr constituency 1 in the state assembly at the party’s primary held in Uber on Thursday.

He polled 12 votes to come second in the keenly contested election.

Ubi lost to Cyril Omini, the Special Adviser on security to Governor Ben Ayade, who scored 17 votes. Ubi Ubi Itam, another hopeful, came third with 11 votes.

The music executive is also the Special Adviser on tourism to Governor Ayade.
