“I thought Adekunle was fa.ke” – Sheggz explains to Ebuka (Video).
During the reunion of Big Brother Naija Season 7, Sheggz, and Adekunle, two ex-housemates who have been having problems for some time, finally revealed the reason for their animosity.
Sheggz explained that he began to have doubts about Adekunle’s accounts, as he often exaggerated them.
As an illustration, Adekunle would claim he was poor while simultaneously insinuating that Sheggz was wealthy, despite Sheggz knowing he was not accurate about his financial status.
“He’d always say, ‘Swegz you’re rich you have 10 cars but me I’m p00r, my guy kicked me out.’ All that doesn’t add up to me,” Sheggz said. “I started to think that he was just making up stories to make himself look good.”
Sheggz also said that he was bothered by the way that Adekunle would always talk about his past. Adekunle would often talk about how he had been through a lot in his life, and Sheggz felt that he was using his past to gain sympathy from people.
