“How I dealt with POS attendant who charged me N4k on N10k this morning” – Phyna
According to Phyna, she authorized her maid to withdraw 10,000 Naira using a POS machine, but she was charged an exorbitant fee of 4,000 Naira by the attendant.
This was surprising to her as the standard fee for such transactions is supposed to be 400 Naira.
Phyna was under the impression that POS attendants no longer overcharged their clients.
She later returned to the POS machine to question the attendant about the high fee, and the person apologised, stating that it was a mistake.
Phyna did not believe the attendant’s explanation, and she collected her 3,600 Naira balance. She believes that she was almost cheated because she is a celebrity.
