BBNAIJA REUNION: Beauty reveals why she was cool with Groovy dating Phyna (Video)
Beauty Tukura, a participant from the seventh season of Big Brother Naija, expressed that she does not feel envious of her friend Phyna for being in a relationship with her former love interest, Groovy.
She made this statement during the eighth episode of the Level Up reunion show, which was broadcast on Thursday evening.
Tukura emphasized that she is not the type of person to harbor jealousy and that she genuinely wishes Phyna and Groovy the best.
She further clarified that she and Groovy are no longer in a relationship and that she no longer has any emotional attachment to him.
The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked: “What do you think first of all when you started seeing that [Groovy and Phyna’s relationship] happened?”
Beauty said: “Honestly, I didn’t have a problem with that. And I will tell you why because first, I’m very in touch with reality. Does that make sense? I’m as real as they come.
“Even when I left the [Big Brother] House, my first interview they asked me about him [Groovy] and everything, I said that I felt sorry about what I said about him. I was very clear, I was like, I don’t expect him not to move on.
“So, I never have a problem if Groovy was going to be with anybody else. I’m not a witch. I will not have a problem with it.”
On why she snubbed Phyna at a party after the reality show, Beauty said, “Because I watched a clip of this girl [Phyna] saying I should die… She just went on, now she’s with Groovy sef, if you want to die, go and die.”
